grant by the National Science Foundation ---
Boston University's
Noyce Scholars Program will provide full scholarships,
a master's degree, and initial teacher licensure to up to 13 outstanding
mathematics students from around the country.

Major Wins Poster Competition -- Marc Kelechava (CAS 2008), a UROPer
in summer 2007 who researched Catalan Numbers in epidemiology was
awarded first prize for his poster presentation at the annual UROP
symposium.
