Introduction

The Chaos Game is an interactive game that uses a fractal as it's game board. It is accessible to anyone via the World Wide Web. It is based on an idea of Kevin Lee of the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. It strives to be a tool through which high school and middle school students can explore the mathematics of fractals. Johanna Voolich created The Chaos Game during the Geometry Center Summer Institute of 1996. It is a part of the larger Dynamical Systems and Technology Project at Boston University, headed by Robert L. Devaney. This Project unites high school and middle school teachers with comtemporary mathematical topics.
