Windows 95/NT Downloading Instructions
If you want to download the Java Development Kit (JDK) distribution,
which includes the appletviewer:
- First you should download the Sun Java Developers Kit (currently
version 1.1.5),
and install it on your machine. This includes the
appletviewer, which can be found in the bin
directory.
Please read carefully the instructions and afterwards
proceed with the installation.
Click here to download the JDK
You can download the package below, and run the applets either
with the appletviewer installed above, or with Netscape,
Internet Explorer, or almost any type of browser you might have on your PC:
Click here to download the package:
PC.zip.
Note: The file above is a PkZip file, which you can unzip
in a separate folder, using either WinZip or PKUNZIP.
After completing step above, you should have in your folder three files:
chaos-game.html, fractalina.html, franimate.html,
and a folder called classes.
If you want to see the applets with Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.
just open (local) the .html files above.
If you want to run them with the appletviewer,
locate your appletviewer program (installed
in the first step), and type the following in at a MS-DOS Prompt:
C:\(the path for appletviewer)\appletviewer chaos-game.html
or similar.
Have fun!
