MA 231: Bifurcation Diagram Lab

This lab is due Thursday, December 11, 2003 at the beginning of class. I will discuss this lab in class, so late labs will not be accepted.

Work lab 8.3 on Page 695 in the book. You should complete the portion of the lab dealing with the logistic function (i.e., #1-8 plus the Report, and also Further Project #1. Do not do Further Project #2.

You may use a spreadsheet or any other program you wish.

DO NOT hand in lists of numbers. One more time: DO NOT hand in long lists of numbers! Do hand in a sketch of the bifurcation diagram in both cases as well as a brief paragraph dealing with your findings.
