A Brief Introduction to the World-Wide Web

The World-Wide Web, simply referred to as ``the Web" and abbreviated WWW or W3, is as of this writing the latest attraction to the Internet. The WWW is a source of global information available for people all over the world to browse. It is referred to as a ``Web" of information because of its ability to link documents together. Following one of these links could take you anywhere in the world. And to use the Web requires little computer expertise.
