About Me:
WELCOME! I am a graduate student in math at BU working under the supervision of Professor Samuel Isaacson. My main research
interest is in Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) and general Applied Mathematics. I am also interested in understanding a lot of things through the lens of PDEs e.g.
geometry, topology etc, but that is for the future. Lately, I've been thinking about stochastic reaction diffusion equations, Schrödinger operators and boundary value
problems.
Here is my CV.
Publications and Preprints:
Here are some papers (not all of them have links!):
- Sobolev space estimates for the convergence rate of the Doi model to the Smoluchowski model, [In preparation]
- Asymptotic analysis of the time dependent Schrödinger operator in the large coupling limit, [In preparation]
- (with S. Isaacson) A Comparison of Bimolecular Reaction Models of Stochastic Reaction Diffusion Systems, [Submitted]( pdf) ( arXiv version )
Notes:
I plan on posting some lecture notes from seminars and workshops I
have attended. I will also post notes from talks I have given at the BU student seminars. Stay
tuned...
- A proof of a Parabolic Maximum Principle ( pdf )
Teaching:
This semester I am a Teaching Fellow for MA 124: Calculus II and
MA 118: Algebra and Trigonometry.
Personal:
I was born in Nigeria and I moved to the US for college and then graduate school. When I am not doing mathematics,
I am probably cooking (and eating), running, and playing or watching football (the real kind).
I also moonlight as a (failing) stand up comedian when I can find the time. Here are some of
my jokes/quotes.
