Research Interests

My research interests were primarily in the area of pattern formation. I study the Gray-Scott model, in both 1D and 2D. The Gray-Scott model is a system of two reaction-diffusion equations, which is used to model certain chemical reactions. In actual chemical experiments, patterns consist of spatially localized regions of high pH, which appear as spots or stripes. In addition, these patterns can be dynamic in nature (i.e. changing in time) or they can be stationary.

I pursued additional research interests at the Naval Research Lab in Washington D.C.

Now I have really changed directions. I am currently (summer 2008) a senior systems administrator at Harvard Medical School.

Other Interests and Activities

None of your business! :-P (Read that as... I'm too lazy to update this. Either you know me and know what my interests are, or you don't and couldn't care less.)

Dave Morgan Office: None (at BU, that is). Office Phone: Nope.
