Student Posters
Applications are being taken for undergraduate students to present
a poster on their research, as well as an expository project or a mission
statement of a group or student organization.
Students interested in presenting their work should send their abstract to Emma Previato
by November 2, 2007. Abstracts should be no longer than one page and
should include the presenter's name, address, phone number, e-mail, University
or College of registration, year, and name and affiliation of a faculty
advisor. Raw text is appreciated! If your work is set
in a TeX dialect, please include the TeX file
along with necessary macros, or the TeX file along with
a .pdf document. The accepted abstracts will be published on-line
in the RUMBUS07 Proceedings booklet.
You will be notified by e-mail
regarding acceptance,
the same weekend as the deadline
which is Friday November 2, 2007. Also, please note any audio-visual or
technical equipment you may require.
A surface to display your
poster
will be provided: these are
tri-fold posterboards,
3 feet tall and 4 feet wide,
the left flap is 1 foot wide, the middle is 2 feet wide, and the right flap
is 1 foot wide.
Additional material or equipment is the responsibility of each
