Teaching

"A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it."
- The First Law of Mentat

In the spirit of Cal Poly's (my alma mater) philosophy of "learn-by-doing," I appreciate and respect every teaching experience I've had as an opportunity for both the students and myself to learn. I encourage my students to follow their homework and studying with time spent teaching the material to their classmates or friends. Statistics is something you practice in the way you experience and think about the world throughout all of life. Since living means doing at any point in time (for the most part), there's always something to be learned...and Statistics can help!
