Most of the handouts that I distribute in my courses are available from the course's web page. This semester I hope to be able to do this exclusively via the web using Adobe's portable document format (pdf).

File format: Some documents will be available in html, and consequently you will be able to read them using any browser, e.g., Netscape or MS Internet Explorer. Documents that require special formating or mathematical notation will be available in Adobe's portable document format (pdf). If you do not have the Adobe acrobat reader, you can get it for free from the Adobe web site.
