The textbook has "review" exercises at the end of each chapter. They are handy when you are studying for the final because you don't know what section (or sections) they come from.

You should be able to answer the "short answer exercises" fairly quickly. Most are very straightfoward, but a few are a little tricky.

If you decide to try some review exercises after you have finished the assignment above, any of the exercises at the end of Chapter 4 are appropriate. Exercises 1-4, 15-18 (part (a) only), and 26 are the only appropriate ones at the end of Chapter 5. At the end of Chapter 6, Exercises 1, 2, 4-6, 12, 18, 19, 21, 26, and 27 are appropriate.

Although we did not cover Section 3.7 this semester, you may find that reading pages 347-352 will help you organize the various types of linear systems.

2009 exams: This semester we did not cover the material tested by Problems 3 and 6 on the final exam in 2009. Those are the only such problems on all three midterms and the final.
