MATLAB tool to help you understand eigenvectors:
The MATLAB folks have developed a nice little tool to help with the
conceptual understanding of eigenvalues and eigenvectors. It is called
eigshow.m
. To use it, you simply type eigshow at the MATLAB5
prompt after you have downloaded the file and placed it in an
appropriate directory.
Ghostscript/Ghostview:
You may find it useful to install
Ghostscript/Ghostview
on your home
computer so that you can view and print postscript documents.
