The Towers of Hanoi, Version 2

The Game:

The goal of the game is to move the disks around in such a way that three new towers are formed, each consisting of disks of the same color.

You are allowed to only move one disk at a time; you are not allowed to place a larger disk on top of smaller one.

Instructions:

Once you've decided which disk you want to move, click on the tower it's in.

Then select a tower to put the disk in by clicking on it.

ALL NEW:

I just added a new feature to the game. Now there are five levels with 2,3,4,5,6, or 7 disks respectively.

You can switch between levels by means of the scrollbar on the right.

Note that you can switch between levels and then go back to a level you've already started. The level positions will be preserved until you finish a level or click RESET.

RESET will only clear the current level.

Due to numerous bugs in the Netscape(and others') Java VM, your browser may halt or kick the bucket upon loading this applet. If this is the case, and you REALLY want to try the game, you may load it through the Sun JDK appletviewer.
