IFSoft was programmed in Java(copyright Sun) using the JDK from JavaSoft. To find

Many aspects of the programming were made easier by the nice features and
beautiful structure of java. However, many problems were created by the
instability and incompleteness of current implementations of the Java Virtual
Machine.
