More about Fractalina and Fractanimate

The Java(tm) package containing the programs Fractalina and Fractanimate! was written by Noah D. Goodman during the Geometry Center Summer Institute '96, for the Dynamical Systems and Technology Project at Boston University (headed by Robert L. Devaney). These programs are educational software intended to help teach ideas about fractals to high school and middle school students.

The following pages describe the software in more detail, introduce the mathematics behind the pictures, describe the programming in Java(tm), and give technical specifications.
