Using runtex to Print a Document

After you have previewed your document, you may either edit it or print it directly to a printer. All of these steps are described in detail below. Use the command:
math joe % runtex <filename>
to first run the TeX processor on a file called filename.tex (all TeX files must end in .tex). Then it will convert the output to a printable form, called PostScript. Thirdly it will send this printable form to the default printer which is sophie. Finally it will clean up all the intermediary files that were created and exit.

In the next sections, the most commonly used options to runtex are explained. You may mix and match these commands as needed to produce the desired output. To see a complete list of all the options, use the command:
math joe % man runtex
to read the corresponding manual page.
