Images of India - Goa Photos

Here are some photos taken on our trip to Goa. Goa, located on the western central coast of India, is renowned for its beaches and laid back lifestyle. It's a place that more than a few expat westerners have come to call home.
Here we are, waiting to board the train to Goa. The other westerner is our friend Lynn, who visited us from Boston. Unfortunately, she was sick with the flu for her entire trip!
A good vacation needs a good breakfast!
An old cathedral in Goa. I'm too lazy to look the name up right now.
Arch in an arch in an arch.
Same cathedral, different angle.
"Hmmm, is there anything in this canon?"
Cutting a coconut. There's yummy tender coconut water inside.
Me, enjoying contents of said coconut.
This is what we came to Goa for! The beach was great, and the water was warm.
Hanging on the beach, Indian style.
Yum! That's a dosa, a type of Indian pancake, generally folded around a potato masala.
Our rental had some of the bases covered: A cross on the mirror, and Ganesha on the window.
You could go for a 30 second jetski ride for a lot of money. I chose not to.
Front of a nice house in Goa. The archetecture has a Portugese influence.
Just a dirt road, but a nice dirt road.
Time to go! Waiting for the train.
Down the tracks.
