My name is Sahand, and I'm a fourth year Ph.D. student in Statistics at Boston University. Currently, I work under Uri Eden on developing statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze neural data. I completed my undregraduate studies in 2016 at Sharif University of Technology where I graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees in majors Mathematics and Computer Engineering. I spend a good amount of my free time playing soccer, watching soccer, or generally engaging in any activity that is slightly related to soccer! My other interests and hobbies include reading books, traveling, cooking, and listening to different kinds of music.
