Announcements
- Check out the summer program in
analysis and geometry at Princeton University. The deadline is Feb
15.
- Regarding Euler's
formula V - E + F = 2, Wikipedia says that it was rigorous proven
by Cauchy. However, the formula was evidently due to Euler in 1750 which
is after
Newton and, hence, Calculus.
- The deadline for the final exam has been extended!
- Check out the great IAS/PCMI summer program in geometry and topology from June 25 to July 15, 2006. Apply for funding for the undergraduate program here by Feb 15.
- Another summer math institute but at Cornell University. Funding is available. Deadline is Mar 1.
- Homework solutions are on reserve in the Science-Engineering Library.
