Registration and funding:
Registration is currently
open
. Please
register
as soon as possible so that we have an accurate count of participants.
The funding application form is closed.
Funding details:
Funding for participants from Japan is being handled directly by M. Kurihara. We ask those interested to directly contact him at
kurihara@math.keio.ac.jp
.
There is limited funding available, through the NSF, for graduate students and postdocs currently at U.S. institutions outside the Boston area.
The terms of our funding allow us to only fund the
local expenses
of visitors.
Travel will not be reimbursed.
Due to the funding constraints above, we encourage applicants to apply to give a contributed talk, since there are often institutional sources of funding available to cover the travel of junior researchers presenting work.
We will not require talks to be on original research. Expository talks will be considered and we strongly encourage all applicants to apply to give a presentation.
U.S. applicants
should arrange for a short letter
from a thesis advisor (or close mentor) to be sent to
bukeio2015@math.bu.edu
.
Funding priority will given to applicants that:
Agree to present a talk during the workshop.
Apply on or before
July 17, 2015.
Decisions on funding will be sent out starting July 20, 2015.
