The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Boston University is
proud to host the
eighth annual joint workshop between Boston University (Boston, MA, USA) and
Keio University (Yokohama, JP). The purpose of these workshops is to expose
graduate students, junior faculty and researchers to active areas of research
in areas of mathematics represented by BU and Keio faculty.
This year's program will focus on
dynamical systems.
All talks are intended to be accessible to advanced graduate students with an
interest in dynamical systems.
There is limited funding available to cover the local expenses of graduate students and postdocs from outside the Boston area.
Workshop topics include:
Applications in biology, chemistry and neuroscience
Celestial mechanics
Complex dynamics
Dynamical systems of algebraic and geometric origin
